Full Body Massage
If you are looking for a complete Mountain View massage experience, a massage of your full body may be the way to go. Receiving a full body massage means the therapist will massage the major areas of your body during the session. The major areas include back, shoulders, legs, feet, arms, hands, and neck. It may also include stomach, face, and scalp. Men may also receive a pectoral massage.
Generally, the session will start with you lying face down on the table while our therapists begins working on your neck and shoulders, then moves down your body. As the massage progresses, your therapist will only uncover what part of the body is being massaged. Once you have been massaged to your feet, it is time to flip over and lay on your back. Now the massage will progress back up your body, ending again with your neck and shoulders.
Oils will be used to lubricate and hydrate your skin during the massage. As with all of our massage treatments, you can discuss these oils and any other expectations with your therapists, including any areas that are sensitive or uncomfortable.
No matter which type of massage you are scheduling, remember to always allow for relaxation time before and after the session. Being in the right state of mind is essential to get the most out of your massage and to have longer lasting results.
Also keep in mind that if you are not sure of your comfort level with a full body massage, you could consider booking a massage that focuses only on only a specific part of the body such as the neck, shoulders, and back.
